We\u2019ve all heard the stories of couples struggling with being confined with each other 24\/7 during these unprecedented times. It\u2019s enough to scare off anyone in a new relationship (ahem, me). But, in an uplifting turn of events, speaking with Bianca and Tad reminded me of the strength and bond that couples who share work, parenting, and passions, can have, when done right.<\/p>\n

Bianca and Tad Snyder are a couple who do it all (or mostly all) together. As the founders of High Society Mama<\/a> and High Society Papa<\/a>, they have been advocating plant healing and acceptance among both parents and our culture at large for years. That alone is a full-time job, but wait, there\u2019s more. Together, they raise a son, as well as two growing businesses. Tad is at the helm of Society\u2019s Plant<\/a>, their boutique hemp farm based in Michigan, which utilizes biodynamic and regenerative cultivation methods. As a certified permaculture designer and sustainability advocate, he is out in the hemp fields every day. Right alongside him is Bianca, who also manages and runs High Society BnB<\/a>, their cluster of cannabis-friendly rentals in Chicago.<\/p>\n

Our conversation was a refreshing take on the fact that, yes, you can do it all, but it doesn\u2019t come easily. Raising a family and running multiple businesses, takes a lot of time, effort, communication, and, of course, CBD.<\/p>\n

Can you share your first weed experience?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bianca\u00a0(B):\u00a0In high school I would\u00a0occasionally\u00a0steal a joint from my mom, I don\u2019t think I ever really got high because I didn\u2019t really know how to properly inhale. In\u00a0college at CU Boulder I took a bong rip before going to Farrand Field on 4\/20 and I was more than uncomfortably stoned.<\/p>\n

Tad\u00a0(T):\u00a0I was with my brother\u2019s\u00a0friend in high school, I took one or two\u00a0hits and I was stoned but it was not a profound experience I was dying to do again.<\/p>\n

What inspired you to\u00a0step into this role as\u00a0High Society Mama\u00a0and\u00a0build this\u00a0community?<\/strong><\/p>\n

B:\u00a0I\u00a0saw a void\u00a0of\u00a0mothers\u00a0working to break the stigma of cannabis use. There\u00a0are\u00a0tons of\u00a0moms\u00a0on\u00a0Instagram, but there were not many talking about or actively promoting cannabis. There were a few female-centric accounts\u00a0that\u00a0I saw that\u00a0were really shifting the conversation of cannabis away from the stoner stereotype, and that intrigued me.\u00a0\u00a0I wanted to bring that same experience to mothers.<\/p>\n
