What is HiVi’s “Highest Standard”?

In order to guide you to be an educated and conscious cannabis consumer, we hold ourselves accountable for sharing only the best with you.

As a mission-driven company, we are committed to the following:

Inclusive + Equitable: as a WOC-led team, we believe in supporting the industry’s underrepresented women and BIPOC entrepreneurs in an effort to incite meaningful change to the systemic issues within the cannabis industry. We fight for and amplify organizations and individuals working for cannabis reform and support the decriminalization of drugs and expungement for all non-violent drug-related convictions. We are a member of Broccoli magazine’s Floret Coalition to contribute as much as we can to these efforts and will continue to do more.
High Quality: Everything, from education to products, is vetted for transparency, credibility, quality, and efficacy. That means our education is factual, and all products are compliant, lab-tested, ethically sourced, and are actually effective. We support brands that are sourced from Sun + Earth Certified and Certified Kind farms. They are the products we use ourselves and recommend to friends and family.
Heart-led: The core of who we are as a brand is driven by our community. We’re here to listen, reflect and share diverse stories in order to inspire each other in a stigma-free and safe environment.

Furthermore, we only feature and support brands that adhere to the following product development practices:

Clean cultivation
- Cannabis is grown organically
- Cannabis is grown in the US
- Responsibly grown with no additives, fillers, flavorings, preservatives, solvents, herbicides, or pesticides
Rigorous quality testing
- Third-party lab results, which include thorough inspection for cannabinoids and terpenes profiles, heavy metals, mold, pesticides and solvents at minimum
- Food grade for all edibles/tinctures
Transparency by brand
- COA and batch results clearly accessible to user via QR code on packaging or on brand website

Where are you based?

Our headquarters is in Los Angeles, but in true millennial, pandemic-era style, our team is based all across the world, from LA to Singapore.

Do you only cover USA products, news and information?

We are currently focused on US-based information, news and products but are continuing to grow! You will find that our THC news and products coverage is focused on California, Colorado, Oregon and Seattle, but we are constantly working on adding new legal states. So be sure to check in often!
