DIY Spa Facemask Recipe: Bud Betty’s Balms

As a new mother and active women, I find my body is achy at the end of the day. For me, Cannabis is healing. It soothes my mind, body, and soul and helps me recharge for the next day. 

Bud Betty’s Avocado, Honey, and CBD Facemask

Ingredients:

  • ½ Ripe Avocado
  • 1 tbsp Plain Yogurt (the higher the fat, the more moisturizing)
  • ½ tbsp Honey
  • 1 Gram of CBD flower of your choosing
  • 1/5 cup of coconut oil

Directions:

  1. Decarb your CBD, this will take approximately 2 hours
  2. Infuse your CBD with Coconut oil, taking another 2 hours
  3. Once your cannabis infusion is ready, mash the avocado and stir in plain yogurt
  4. Add the honey and CBD-coconut infusion to the avocado and yogurt
  5. Place in fridge for 10 minutes
  6. Stir after cooled, and massage facemask into clean face
  7. Leave for 10-15 mins or until mask hard dried
  8. Mask will last no more than 2 weeks in fridge

CBD Whipped Face Cream

Ingredients:

  • ½ Cup Shea Butter (preferably unrefined)
  • ½ Cup coconut oil
  • ½ Aloe Vera Gel
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Glycerine
  • 1 Gram of CBD Flower of your choosing
  • For a Bud Betty twist, ¼ Cup of your favorite dried tea leaves for scent

Instructions:

You will need a double boiler or a pot with boiling water and a heat-safe bowl

  1. Decarb your CBD, this will take approximately 2 hours
  2. Infuse your CBD with Shea Butter dried tea leaves, taking another 2 hours
  3. Fill the bottom of the double boiler with an inch or two of water.
  4. Warm water over low/medium heat. Add infused shea butter and coconut oil to the top of the boiler
